Welcome to the JILID community

The aim of this community is to build a global network of people who are interested in the research and collaboration on (inter)cultural aspects of learning and the design of educational media.

The idea is to do two collaborations and discussions per year on a specific topic with the help of web communication tools such as newsgrous, chats and documents on the web. Within this period should be two or more weeks of intensive communication about the subject.

This collaboration aims to encourage students to reflect on their experience of living abroad by exchanging views and different approaches to adaptation to the foreign country. It is also hoped that the contact fostered might also act as a valuable source of support in the difficult settling down phase.
